One-on-One Quick Start Training
Our American Fork FamilySearch staff developed a Quick Start Training Guide, unique and highly-focused, that we believe to be the easiest, most time efficient path to accurate productivity in the world family tree. We have found no other source that better brings a beginner into the work. Following correct principles allows FamilySearch computers to expand artificial intelligence and do more of the work for us. With just a few hours of study and practice, inexperienced patrons will be confidently on their way to doing their own work with stress-relieving focus and productivity while also helping others with their Training. Even experienced researchers using our training guides are learning new productive ways to refine their methods and confidence in FamilySearch.

Make a reservation to use one of our many amazing pieces of equipment. Don't worry if you don't know how to use it, instructions are posted next to each station and our consultants can assist with any further questions. Learn more about the equipment we have here.
At the American Fork FamilySearch Center, we offer a variety of group activities to promote a love for family history and help you build your skills. Activities are divided into four categories: Introductory, Skill Building, Family Group/Reunion/FHE, and Additional.
We provide multiple levels of experiences to accommodate different age groups and experience levels, so come back often and explore something new!
Find details and scheduling links on our Group Activities page.
